On Tuesday, April 1, NEPGA submitted written testimony in opposition to NH House Bill 710, An Act enabling electric utilities to own, operate, and offer advanced nuclear resources. As amended by the House, the bill would enable the state’s electric utilities to enter into multi- year contracts for certain types of nuclear resources. Doing so, NEPGA argued, would move New Hampshire away from its decades of leadership in supporting efficient, non-discriminatory competitive markets.
